The Matoska International Parent-Teacher Organization (MIPTO) is at the heart of our school community, fostering a strong connection between families, teachers, and students. We're excited to be gearing up for the next school year and are actively seeking enthusiastic parents/guardians to join our PTO!

Being part of the PTO is a rewarding way to:

• Make a Difference: Your contributions directly impact the learning environment and enrichment activities for our children.

• Connect with Others: Meet fellow parents/guardians, teachers, and staff while working towards shared goals.

• Develop Skills: Gain valuable leadership, communication, and organizational experience.

What Do MIPTO Board Members Do?

Nine board members will be elected for the 2024-25 school year. Together, we coordinate fundraising efforts that support school programs and classroom needs, as well as plan community events like the “Welcome Back Bears” fall picnic and Rally 4 Reading. Board members attend one regular meeting each month (the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00-7:00 pm, in person or virtual) and volunteer at MIPTO school events.

 

Board members are encouraged to bring their skills and talents–including leadership, creativity, communication, graphic design, event planning, etc. There's something for everyone, regardless of your time commitment or experience level.
