October 3rd between 4pm and 8pm

Grab dinner at Jersey Mike's and show the Jersey Mike's fundraising flyer at the time of purchase to have 25% of the sale go to our school.

You must show the flyer (printed or on phone) for us to get credit for the sale.

Hello, Matoska families~

As we are digging into our school year, I am sharing here those QR codes that I referenced last month. This month, using the code below, you can watch a brief (3 minute) video that explains our Matoska Programme of Inquiry (POI).

This is the organization of all IB Units of Inquiry that are taught across all grade levels and among each of our IB themes for the school year. You can find the full size visual hanging on the wall just outside our main office, in the school entryway.

If you have any questions about our POI, please contact me (julia.stonehouse@isd624.org). Or, if there are particular aspects of our IB school that you would like to learn more about in this column, please let me know!

FUN AT WELCOME BACK BEARS

Thank you to the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Matoska Art Program, and all of the volunteers who helped make Welcome Back Bears successful. And thank YOU for spending your Saturday with us! It was a great way to kick off the year.

LAKESHORE THEATER THIS YEAR

We are excited to continue our partnership with Lakeshore Players Theater this school year! Stay tuned for more information regarding registration. Our goal is to offer two productions this year; one geared towards 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade this fall and another for Kinder, 1st, and 2nd this spring.
