MATOSKA INTERNATIONAL ART SHOW
Thursday, May 9th
5:00 - 7:00 pm in the Matoska gym
Come see all the amazing art Matoska students have created as part of the art enrichment program this year. Every student will have their art displayed at the show. There will also be student-made art for sale, art activities and Donatelli’s dinner. All profits from the art sale and dinner go to supporting the art enrichment program.

MATOSKA FUN RUN
Saturday, June 1st
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to a fun-filled community event!
Gather at 10:00 am for a warm up dance party. The 1K/3K FUN Run/Walk/Jog (whatever you prefer!) starts at 10:15 am sharp at the school. Food and community fun to follow. Come be active with your family and enjoy our fabulous Matoska Community. Bring cash or card for hot dog lunch and Bean and Co. will provide a free scoop of ice cream for the participants.
The event will be held rain or shine and will only be canceled in the event of severe weather (thunder & lightning).
WATER WALK 2024
This year Matoska are partnering with 2 schools in Africa to gain access to clean water, check out the schools at this link: https://www.h2oforlifeschools.org/sponsors/99
On May 3, all students were given a water bottle designed by the 5th grade Water Warriors to collect donations and in the water bottle will have more information. Students will bring their collection back to school on their Water Walk date. After that they should clean their water bottle and use it to drink water ;-)
The Water Walk is scheduled for May 14, 15, and 16 on your child's PE day. Families are invited to walk along with us, students will be bussed back to school from Bellaire Beach.
Also, if you have any empty 2L pop bottles, please have your child drop them off in the gym anytime. Here is the schedule for the Water Walk:
Book Fair May 20- 24 in the Matoska Maker Space
Here’s what you need to know:
Family Shopping night is: Tuesday, May 21 and Thursday May 23 from 3:30 - 6:00 pm.
We accept cash and e-Wallet—set up your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up e-Wallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.
