Hello, Matoska families!
There are three pillars of an IB school:
Learning and Teaching
The Learning Community
You are an important part of our learning community which is inclusive of everyone involved in the life of our school: students and their families, all school staff members, and other important adults in the students’ lives.
As you may know, we are currently working on our program evaluation, making sure that we are delivering the very best IB education we can to your children, and you are a part of that process. We need to hear your thoughts and feelings; what we are doing well and where we can do better here at Matoska. Carolyn Kay will be emailing you very soon with a link to a Google Form. I respectfully ask that you take a few minutes to share your feedback there. I can promise that every response will be read and carefully considered.
Thank you for your time and thank you for being a part of our Matoska community!
TIME TO NOMINATE A TEACHER OF THE YEAR
It's time once again to celebrate professional excellence as part of the White Bear Lake Area Educators’ Teacher of the Year program. The process begins with nominations from community members, parents, students and colleagues.
In alignment with Education Minnesota’s Minnesota Teacher of the Year program, nominations will be advanced for WBLAE members who: have a valid Minnesota teaching license; have taught for five years before nomination; and spend at least 50% of their day working directly with students.
Complete Teacher of the Year Nomination Form
Nominations are open until February 10th, 2022, at 4:00 pm.
